Viva Kuwaiti Women

Edited Post

Kuwaiti women got their rights to vote and elect ...."CONGRATULATION".... that's fine ...I am with this right .. but what scares me to death ... the show off that every person will enjoy ... I would say men in particular (HINT: I'm not into political material ) ...thinking about the subject made me create that so-called image ....I don't wanna blow your minds but just think about it this way

Kuwait will be flourished financially and economically ...I'm not refering to the press , mass media and propaganda ... thanks to Kuwaiti female candidtes... the beatuy cetners and health gym will gain mo'mo' money cuz of the demands on having a new look for the 2007 election campaign . Private hospitals and clinics will have offers for cosmetic/plastic surgeries to get the extreme make-over . Not to mention wedding parties will have no place to book a hall or chamber due to the demand on the chambers for the electors . Vila Moda will offer the best Koftans especially designed by the best top designers * this is a joke :p* and you may add the sweets and desserts that are esepcially ordered and decorated from Lebanon with a picture and the name of the elector ...and also add all the irrational act by SOME of the candidates :P

I want to confirm that I am with the whole story "Women are Kuwaiti too"...But I thought why not have a glance beyond election and voting matter...

I know there is good and bad , active and lazy , worthy and unworthy ... (Asabe3na mo sewa)

this is a fact and I wish to be mistaken about it and hope that Kuwaiti women do better and better ....

Good Luck ladies :)

One more thing ... I just wanna make a clarification ....My vote will not be given for a female candidate :P

This post is not meaning anyone or anybody ...and feel free to post your comment :)

Well im a bit skeptical about what is going on in kuwait with all these tiny things that we not consider but if we connect all these bits and peices we will get a btter and bigger picture,

again i ask why now did the royal decree go against the parliment and give women their rights in politics

why do that thing in education and what was all the shooting that was going on

why did kuwait open up with iraq so suddenly yet try to make its people forget the horrible past

i think there is a polciy that is going on, kuwait lacks independant skeptical critical intellectuals of social science as it seems, who are not liberalists in nature or at least dont have the voice of media

and that is why the picture would be dim for a while

ya3ni does really kuwait need to flourish economically due to that sort of stuff:P

and what is being produced in kuwait that makes kuwait industilise yet develope economically economically :P

i havent made up my mind wheather women should be able to vote or not
but i do have an objection that women would rule over men
cause its just plain against clear evidence from the quran and sunnah

participation of women in a better manner would be encouragble

the way they do in saudi is ideal

I knoiw that there are women who are against women poltical rights all togther which is kewl by me
maybe
we should make a vote in kuwait to see whather women whould be allowed to vote or not

and allow women in that one vote and see if the parliment really represents kuwait or is kuwait falling in a trap of fascism of forced ideology over the people that is forced women political rights:P

I understand what you are up to ...but I just wanna say (mo kel men hab oo dab ) elect herself for the parliment !!!

I think they should put some rules and norms ... or instead going through campaigns i would say they should for instance assign 8 women from different directions in the parliment ...I think Qatar is did it ... Not sure :P

I was trying to show what could happen , I mean are they shallow enough , are they gonna show off ? all the blah blah blah's ...

Cuz as Kuwaiti and in typical Kuwaiti society, I believe we are having difficult norms ... we don't take things easy ... in terms * oh what am gonna wear the next day :p*(bad example , huh?!) I do this all the time ... are the female elctor gonna be more flexible ?

One more thing ....if a female elector won the battle... and within time she got pregnant *she is married of course* ... is she gonna make (isteqbal) and let other men greet her for her new born baby ??

ladies if you are thinking about it ... then you should be over 50 ...cuz your kids are old and independent enough ... you should for get about being preggy * what i'm talking about she is over 50 !!):P ya3ni (tafaru'3 tam )

Ya3ni el zebda ...Management :)

PS : I know I'm OFFTOPIC to what you were saying :P bas I felt I neeeded to add some points

its okay i love these discusions

about things related to social sciences

but i think what happened is just the real begining of a fade to something new and i think 20 years from now we will regret it

and kuwait might look very different, Allah al musta3aan

kuwait is already changing and more rapidly over the last 10 years even more than the period of 'tafra' in terms of soical behavoir

and wha kinda kuwaiti man would let his wife run for a position:P
