The Call :(
I've been working so hard in the past two weeks , It is summer but still get more stuff to do ! I still can do better and cope with it !! but I don't understand how can for some educated people with M. A. behave like a stupid close minded persons ?!!!
Let me put it this way , I was heading to my office this morning when the secretary told me " I think you're late and there is that person was asking for ya and he was so pissed of and he wants his work done NOW" I was like * Who the hell is the thinking hime self * " And he left a note with his Ex.t and Cellphone No" said the secretary ... I was like*What ?!!* extention number. is fine but cellphone number??!! ...Ok that doesn't make me feel any good ! I mean now I feel bad about business calls !
It is not pleasnt anymore :( I thought being the one and only in the division was a good start for me and get all the credits but now I really need somebody to to handle the work !!
I've made up my mind ...I am not gonna call ...if he wants his work done let him talk to me face to face * forget about face part, am ain't a good fighter *

Yes I agree with sarah, I don't see that there's any harm in calling him from the office n NOT your cellphone!!

And what work was he waiting for? did you call him back or?
there are ppl who don't know how to act, but it won't do you any harm if you called him to see what he wants. Better get over with it now than later..

I do understant what you're tryin to say but , here that guy doesn't seem doing it the right way, he doesn;t realize that I'm working for the institute not for him ,plus he has to behave !
I know how to handle calls including cellphone ...the point is I just don't chase a client to get his work done !

Yes indeed , calling him from my office is fine ...if he is not available in his office then it is not my problem if he cares about his work he should head to my office or send somebody

I think he was rude , plus they don't understand that I have some other work to do ...and they keep nagging " When it is gonna be done ?!" and when I do my best no one ask for it ...!
That's why I do not chase people to get their work !

The thing I am the one who should have left cellphone # , cuz theri work should go through my division... it is not my problem to let him know that his work is ready , if he really cares he would call ! everything is reachable ! if he is not in his office that's another issue , he has a note on his answer machine but never call back * it is not fun at all* !!!
I'm doing my job , and he has to do it too !
